Put yourself in the shoes of a futuristic hacker as you fight your way through virtual reality. Battle with drones, slow time, and generally be a bad ass in this immersive VR shooter.
As far as virtual reality games go, VR Invaders is one of the more polished games you'll find. The graphics are good, the game play is smooth, and the weapons feel nice. The game plays a lot like a wave shooter with a story. You are a hacker inside a virtual reality world, and you are trying to save someone who is trapped there. There are a number of different enemies to deal with, boss fights, and even a "bullet time" style ability to play with. The sound design is nice, and meshes together wonderfully with the visuals to create a very immersive experience. Add to that the nice touch of a narrative to keep things interesting, and you have a very worthy game.
It's not all rosy, unfortunately. The story feels a bit skimped on. That's not unusual for VR games, but just because everyone does it doesn't make it right. The game is also quite short. Other than that, it is a very solid, well polished shooter that would make a nice addition to your VR collection.
